<sub>Once upon a time there was a rich princess who was very vain and selfish to a point her people suffered immensely. She fell in love with a man who was poor and common and spent most of her time with him. She loved him very dearly and one day they made the decision to elope. The lovers were to meet at midnight in the old forest.

Bringing a collection of uselessly expensive items the princess headed out for the forest cheerfully, desperate to see her man, but when she got there she was ambused by peasants who stole all her jewelry. To her surprise the group was led by none other than the man she loved. Choaking back tears she asked the man why he did this. He paused briefly, then said emotionlessly, "I cannot love such an unattractive woman"
Struck blind by his harsh words she lay motionless and allowed the peasants to bury her alive without struggle and she soon died.

A snake demon smelt the scent of her grudge and was drawn to it. It fused with her and brought her back to life, only as something inhuman.

The words she was left with echoed through her, she believed if he felt that way about her then she must find a way to be beautiful.

She now wanders in search of beautiful women, to decapitate them and steal their heads so she can wear them herself. However, no matter how beautiful the heads she wears are, she always goes back to her own</sub>

Meaning, she's actually really pretty, but only outside. She doesn't get it. She never will.
